Adrian's

Well, at long last I have found time to update my page.

My interests are still  my family, work, Derby County, and pottering around in the garden, oh I have now taken up that game of Golf, just a hacker but it's one way of spoiling a good walk.

My family, well what can I say, I hope they do their own page, so I'm not going to spoil their glory, I've taken down Victoria's first attempt so she can update it, let's see what Carol can come up with.

I trained in Civil Engineering, filling posts in local government and then going over to South Africa with BKS in Pretoria., one of the largest CE Consultancies in South Africa. I moved into the computer industry with Siemens as their Product Specialist for the SICAD range, later moving to Perseus as Business Unit Manager for the ReGIS product. There comes a stage in everyone's life that you sit back and look at the future, that happened to me at 40, so up we got and packed our bags and returned to good old England.

Derby County, I have been a supporter of them for about 45 years now, from the Baseball Ground, going with my Dad, through the Harry Storer days, Tim Ward, bringing Kevin Hector, and then the Brian Clough and Peter Taylor days. Now well established at Pride Park, gone are those days on the Pop Side when you had to get to the ground in plenty of time to get the protection of a barrier, so you didn't get squashed when the crowd swayed, now you can watch the goals over and over again at half-time.
